FAMILY FUN
If you are looking all day activities to keep the kids entertained there are a number of theme parks which provide rides, shows, movies and much much more for kids of all ages. Many of the major theme parks are grouped together to the north of the Gold Coast and can be found along the highway a short distance in your car hire Brisbane.
Wet 'n' Wild Water World is Australia's premier water theme park and is always adding to its stable of rides. The latest addition "Surfrider" is Australia's first wet coaster. Take the kids along, but be warned, they may never want to leave! If sandy beaches are not your style then you will absolutely love the clean and friendly atmopshere of Wet'n'Wild. Don't forget to bring sun block and apply it regularly. If you do manage to pry your kids from the rides chances are they will fall asleep in the back of your car hire Brisbane vehicle before you have even left the highway.
FUN WITH ANIMALS
Paradise Country Aussie Farm is an entertaining and interactive Australiana farm where visitors can come and experience a taste of traditional Aussie farm life. The half-day farm tours include exciting displays of horsemanship by real stockmen, animal patting and feeding, whip cracking, boomerang throwing and sheep shearing demonstrations. Traditional stockman food such as damper and billy tea can be sampled, however you will be provided with a famous Aussie barbecue lunch with live entertainment and bush dancing. The farm is situated close to the other theme parks and can be found easily when driving along the freeway in one of our car hire vehicles.
NATIONAL PARKS
The Burleigh National Park is an impressive headlead emerges from the sandy beach at Burleigh. The area is a protected National Park and provides a well maintained walking track. Visitors can walk up to the lookout at Tumgun where migratory Whales are often seen . People who venture to the top are afforded a fantastic view of the ocean and of the coast line that stretches north across surfers paradise. The 1.3 km walking track is like a living museum that contains a diverse range of native local species of bird and plant life. Some street parking is available at the beach at Burleigh and it is only a few hundred metres to the start of the walking trail. Make sure you secure your car hire vehicle before you leave for the walking track.

The Gold Coast has many ways to entertain the whole family. Like the two venues mentioned above, this venue is also located in the theme park district. Driving your hire car north along the highway you will see large signs by the side of the road. Ample parking is provided on sight and is a breeze to find.
